Gina Addo joins the Arcadia Abroad Apprentice Program with a rich background in international education, development, and peacebuilding. She holds a Master of Arts in International Peace and Conflict Resolution from American University’s School of International Service and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Bridgewater State University, where she concentrated in International Affairs and double minored in Anthropology and Middle East Studies.

Her passion for cross-cultural understanding was shaped early through immersive study abroad experiences in Cuba, Morocco, and Jordan. These formative experiences inspired a career in international development, where she spent over five years managing programs across the Middle East and North Africa with a focus on economic growth, stabilization, peacebuilding, and preventing and countering violent extremism (P/CVE).

Gina’s professional journey also includes internships with Global Ties U.S., the American Friends Service Committee, and the International Center on Nonviolent Conflict, where she deepened her expertise in fostering global connections and advancing peace initiatives. Through her apprenticeship at Arcadia Abroad, she is excited to bridge her academic, professional, and personal experiences to support the next generation of students in discovering the transformative power of studying abroad.
