Originally from the USA, Darcy holds a B.S. in Wildlife and Conservation Biology from the University of New Hampshire. Her journey has taken her from conducting field research in the White Mountains to working in outdoor education on the island of Catalina off the coast of California. Her love for nature and exploration brought her to Aotearoa, where she first arrived in 2022 and immediately fell in love with the stunning landscapes and rich culture. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, bird watching, SCUBA diving, and working on creative projects like drawing, and sewing.
Darcy is especially excited to share her passion for New Zealand’s unique ecosystems with students, helping them connect to the environment and appreciate the country’s incredible biodiversity.
