Ashley Brookes joined The College of Global Studies in September 2022 and currently serves as the Associate Director for Advising & Student Engagement. In this role, Ashley manages much of the pre-departure process (orientations, visas, etc.) and provides support and oversight for the Southern Hemisphere and Mediterranean program portfolios. Ashley also works in a Program Advisor capacity for all Augsburg semester programs.

Ashley holds a M.A. in International Higher Education from Boston College, and a B.A. in Globalization Studies from Gettysburg College. During her undergraduate career, Ashley studied abroad in Uganda and in Rwanda. Since then, Ashley has had the privilege of travelling to communities across Africa, Oceania, South America, Europe, and North America. She has worked in international education for over 12 years and has experience at both provider organizations and institutions across the East Coast.

When not working, Ashley enjoys spending time with her young daughter, June, husband, Scott, and their three cats, Fitzwallace, Gloria, and Mimi.
