Alyssa Johnson joined the Arcadia Abroad Institutional Engagement team as assistant director in June 2022. Alyssa's love for study abroad and global cultures developed while completing her biology undergraduate degree at the University of Georgia, where she had the opportunity to attend a summer program in Costa Rica and later complete a semester exchange program in Stuttgart, Germany. Alyssa works with institutions in Region 3.
After graduation, Alyssa worked in the pharmaceutical industry, but it didn't take long for her to realize her desire to help students discover their passions through experiential learning abroad. She pursued her Master's in International Relations through Norwich University and returned to UGA in the capacity of study abroad advisor and incoming international exchange coordinator. Alyssa looks forward to reaching even more students with life-changing and eye-opening opportunities as she represents Arcadia Abroad.
Alyssa enjoys continuing to learn about the world around her through travel, food, music, and new connections.
