Video Introduction by Joanna Simos
This 12-week program is divided into two six-week teaching blocks. The first block consists of two intensive courses (8 credits) that build the foundational practical skills of front-end web development.
In the second block, you will put your new skills into practice with a virtual internship placement in London, Dublin, Edinburgh, Rome, or Athens. You’ll be enrolled in INPR 210, the Arcadia Abroad internship course (4 credits) that will provide context for your international work experience and help you process what you learn professionally and personally.
Your internship placement will involve ~10 hours spent working synchronously with your placement site (your “home office”) and ~10 hours of self-directed project work.
Additionally, you may select an elective course from one of our global centers for an additional 4 credits (Program total of 16 credits).
Placements are offered first come, first served, therefore we may fill all available placements prior to the final deadline, so submit your application and confirm your participation early.
