Shannon joined Arcadia University, The College of Global Studies in 2012 and currently serves as the Associate Director of Academic Operations and Planning. She earned her B.A. from Temple University in History and Spanish, and completed her Master of Arts degree from Arcadia University in 2016. Shannon also holds a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In her role as Associate Director, Shannon primarily helps to coordinate academic initiatives (including program and curriculum development), facilitate co-curricular learning opportunities, and support Arcadia Abroad staff and students with day-to-day academic operations.

Shannon spent a semester in Oviedo, Spain and her experience abroad led her to pursue a career in international education. She has attended multiple professional conferences, including several session presentations at the NAFSA Region VIII conference. Shannon enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, spending time with her family, and cooking internationally-inspired dishes.

Personally, I find it rewarding to help students think critically about what they hope to gain from studying abroad, and do my part to prepare them for an experience in which they can accomplish their goals."
