Shannon joined Arcadia University, The College of Global Studies in 2012 and currently serves as the Assistant Dean, Academic & Program Excellence. She earned her B.A. from Temple University in History and Spanish, and completed her Master of Arts degree from Arcadia University in 2016. Shannon also holds a certification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). In her role as Director, Shannon primarily coordinates academic initiatives (including program and curriculum development), facilitates co-curricular learning opportunities, and supports Arcadia Abroad staff and students with academic operations.

Shannon spent a semester in Oviedo, Spain and her experience abroad led her to pursue a career in international education. She has attended multiple professional conferences, including several session presentations at the NAFSA Region VIII conference. Shannon enjoys traveling anywhere and everywhere, spending time with her family, and cooking internationally-inspired dishes.
