As Associate Director Internships for the Sydney Semester and Summer Internship programs Patrick has been Site Faculty Sponsor since 2003, responsible for securing and maintaining all of the workplace positions for students. Patrick is also the Internship Research Project joint-supervisor, the principal contact for all contract teaching staff and the course instructor for Workplace Realities which includes an eight day field trip looking at workplace issues faced by particular Indigenous organizations.

As Coordinator Western Australia since 1998, Patrick attends the needs of our program participants at the University of Western Australia and leads the Arcadia educational program there. Additionally Patrick had a role as Coordinator Orientations from 1998 – 2003, so understands the pastoral needs of students away from home very well.

Patrick combines his 0.8 position at Arcadia with freelance landscape architecture public design projects and design teaching roles at the University of New South Wales. His teaching experience in higher education includes design teaching posts at the University of Western Australia in Perth, RMIT University in Melbourne, UNSW in Sydney and Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Music/Theatre from The University of Western Australia, and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture and Masters in Landscape Architecture from the RMIT University. In addition, his undergraduate studies included a study abroad semester in Versailles, France.
