Catherine Volkov

Coordinator, Student Services, Queensland

Catherine holds a Masters of Mental Health and a BA (Indigenous Studies and Narrative Studies), as well as qualifications in Outdoor Recreation and Teaching and Assessment. She has worked in the field of Education since 2003, designing, coordinating and leading programs in Australia and internationally. She enjoys traveling, having spent extended periods living and working in Ireland, Spain, Israel, Germany and Thailand.

Since joining the Arcadia team in July 2008, Catherine has worked closely with Queensland students, providing pastoral care and support as well as coordinating local activities and contributing to organizing and running the extensive excursion program. Catherine has a particular interest in encouraging students to explore extra-curricular learning while studying abroad, encouraging participation in activities such as community service and work as well as recreational pursuits such as sport and art. Catherine also coordinates the Australian orientations program for all students coming to Australia.
