The best way to experience Multicultural Athens is to walk around the city, past the historical center and into the hidden neighbourhoods- none of which are the same!

We began our day at the National Museum for a look at the military archives and photographic documents of Greece in History. Then, we made our way toward the Eastern Quarter stopping along the way for traditional pastries, cycladic flavours, and,  toward the end, became a little more adventurous with our pallet.

We tried the greatest Athenian tiropita warm from the oven, fragrant chocolates made from french recipies of the 1800s, cretan pies, loukoumades drenched in honey and a variety of pastourma, cold cuts and cheeses from Smyrna.
