Tuition and Orientation $5,685 Program tuition listed is based on enrollment in one session. All of Arcadia's summer programs include elements that we believe are essential to a successful and enriching academic experience abroad. Program fees include tuition, orientation, full support services throughout the program, pre- and post-program advisory services, student health and accident insurance and transcript.
Room $2,310 The housing portion of our program fee assumes single rooms with shared kitchen facilities and living areas. For students in ensuite housing, please see the additional fee section below. Meals included in this fee are breakfast daily and lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Students must arrange for their own meals on weekends.
Total Program Fee $7,995 Enrollment selections incurring additional fees will be billed several weeks after program begins.

Estimate of Additional Expenses

Books $55 The average cost of books and supplies for a typical student for the term.
Meals $160 This estimate is based on the cost of food to be prepared using the residence facilities provided. Meals included in this fee are breakfast daily and lunch and dinner Monday through Friday. Students must arrange for their own meals on weekends.
Personal $715 This budget item is meant to cover general expenses of daily life. Our estimated cost typically includes toiletries, snacks, cell phones, limited entertainment activities, and other miscellaneous expenses. This includes an estimated $300 for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Student Visa $21 Most students, studying for 6 months or less, and holding a US passport will apply for a UK ETA, which costs £16 (approx $21 USD). Non US passport holders MAY need to apply for a Standard Visitor Visa, which costs £127 (approx. $170 USD). Students doing an internship will apply for a UK Student Visa, which costs £524 (approx. $700 USD). Expediting a visa costs an additional £500-£1000 (approx $700-$1400 USD). Do not apply for any visa until you receive a prompt from Arcadia to do so.
Local Travel $200 Estimated travel costs from the student residence to the instruction site throughout the course of the program.
Program Travel $980 The program fee does not include the cost of traveling to and from the program location and students will have to purchase their own tickets. The estimated cost of airfare is based on the average cost of travel from the US to the program. Cost will vary depending on time of purchase, point of origin and dates of travel.
Total Estimate of Additional Expenses $2,131 These estimates intend to assist students in budgeting for their experience abroad. Actual amounts will vary depending on individual spending habits. Exchange rate of USD 1.34 to GBP 1.00 was used in determining the above estimates.
