Tuition and Orientation $14,950 The tuition portion of all program fees includes tuition for general studies program or the multi-cultural psychology program, most arts and social science academic courses, pre-program advisory services, on-site orientation, complete support services throughout the program, health and accident insurance, post-program follow-up and transcript.
Room $3,545 The housing portion of our program fee assumes self-catered, standard accommodations. Students in catered housing or enhanced accommodations could be subject to supplemental charges. Please refer to the program's Accommodation page for more specific details.
Total Program Fee $18,495 Enrollment selections incurring additional fees will be billed several weeks after programs begin.

Estimate of Additional Expenses

Books $250 The average cost of books and supplies for a typical student for the semester. Additional course fees may be associated with certain courses - please see the ISI website for details. Students must pay these course fees after course registration has been completed directly to ISI onsite. See additional fees below.
Meals $1,155 This estimate is based on the cost of food to be prepared using the residence facilities provided.
Personal $1,100 This budget item is meant to cover general expenses of daily life. Our estimated cost typically includes toiletries, snacks, cell phones, limited entertainment activities, and other miscellaneous expenses. This includes an estimated $300 for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
Student Visa $300 For students studying in Italy for longer than 90 days, the Italian National Visa (D Visa) processing fee is approximately $56 USD; the fee is updated by consulates every three months to adjust for inflation and exchange rate. Students should also budget an additional $50 USD in estimated shipping. Students should also anticipate paying an additional $195 USD for the Permesso di Soggiorno upon arrival in Italy. Visa costs are subject to change.
Local Travel $265 Estimated travel costs from the student residence to the instruction site throughout the course of the program.
Program Travel $1,100 The program fee does not include the cost of traveling to and from the program location. The estimated cost of airfare is based on the average cost of travel from the US to the program. Cost will vary depending on time of purchase, point of origin and dates of travel.
Total Estimate of Additional Expenses $4,170 These estimates intend to assist students in budgeting for their experience abroad. Actual amounts will vary depending on individual spending habits. An exchange rate of USD 1.13 to EUR 1.00 was used in determining the above estimates.

Supplemental Housing Fee $3,325 Students assigned to single rooms will be subject to an additional fee (subject to review and availability).
Special Course Fee $300 - $2,000 Certain courses include course fees. These will be billed directly to you by ISI Florence after arrival.
Scholars Programs $1,900 Students enrolled in the Scholars programs will be subject to an additional fee.
Architect Programs $2,625 Students enrolled in the Architect programs will be subject to an additional fee.
Virtual Global Internship $500 Students enrolled in the Virtual Global Internship add-on option will be subject to a per-semester fee.
