  • The International Students Club is very active, with a welcome party camping and wine tasting excursions as well as a volunteer program service program.

  • The active Student Union has many clubs, societies and initiatives to help you meet other students or “Maties”. Perhaps you’ll get involved in the HOPE Project - a campus-wide initiative rooted in the University's core functions - teaching and learning, research, and community interaction – in search of sustainable solutions to some of South Africa and Africa's greatest challenges.

  • This picturesque location offers many outdoor pursuits from scuba diving to rugby and from local artisan browsing to hiking - or perhaps the crocodile farm at the nearby Zoo.
