Hands on learning and an intimate class setting at a key research institution

Well known for environmental management, viticulture, food science, agribusiness and food marketing, Lincoln University is New Zealand's oldest agricultural college. Available courses in business, Maori studies and the sciences, alongside a focus on applied learning (many courses have field excursions) greatly enhance the academic experience. With smaller class sizes, clubs and societies, and events and activities in the halls of residence, you’ll have ample opportunity to meet other students and become part of the Lincoln University community.

  • Students interested in this program may focus on recreation and tourism management with a specialization in the outdoor environment.

  • Offerings in Maori studies and social sciences provide a strong background in New Zealand culture and history.

  • Active campus life – with events for residents in the Halls, activities organised by the Students’ Association and many sporting and cultural clubs.

  • The city of Christchurch is only 25 minutes away by bus. Hiking, skiing, surfing and more are all possible within a few hours of the university.
