Explore Global Politics, business, history and culture in The City of Light
If visiting Paris has always been a dream of yours, then learning about its rich culture, history and people through study abroad could be the best way to experience this charismatic, beautiful city. Arcadia in Paris lets you delve into an engaged community of scholars exploring international relations, politics, history and global business with the help of dedicated faculty at Arcadia’s academic partner institution the American Graduate School in Paris.
The core of your academic program is a seminar that focuses on the history, politics and diplomacy of France (fall semester) and Europe (spring semester). The seminar will incorporate academic research projects and field study excursions that will take full advantage of many French, European, and international institutions discussed in the classroom. A major component of the core course is the capstone project that will enable you to do research on many current events in France and Europe.
In addition to the required core course and French language study, the program offers electives in African, European and French international relations, politics, government and international business. The core and elective courses are taught in English.
I cannot say enough about my experience with AGS as an undergraduate study abroad student! They taught me so much and were able to schedule classes to allow all the students to make the most out of their time abroad by traveling. I learned so much valuable and fascinating material. The professors were spectacular! If you have the opportunity to study here, take it. ”
