Kat Gow has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Ecotourism/Parks Recreation and Heritage). Soon after completing tertiary study Kat worked at Outward Bound Australia working in various locations around southern NSW and northern Victoria on experiential education based youth camps. It was here she completed a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation.

Kat has travelled to Europe and America on a whirlwind 3-month trip and enjoyed heading to the Panhandle of Idaho to experience Lake Coeur d'Alene and staying in a cabin in the National Park surrounded by beautiful mountains. She has also enjoyed holidays to New Zealand; Northern Territory and Whitsundays in recent years.

Kat joined the team in July 2014 as a relief NSW Coordinator Student Services and is based in Wollongong. She works predominantly with students at Australian National University Canberra; University of NSW Sydney and University of Wollongong. Kat is enjoying the excitement of the students as they adapt to the Australian way of life and seeing them make the most of the opportunities to explore; learn and grow.
