Andrew came to London from rural Wisconsin, where he began his studies at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. In his junior year, Andrew fulfilled a life-long dream to study abroad in London, studying at St. Mary's University in leafy Strawberry Hill. Studying and living abroad in the UK proved to be a natural fit, so that semester extended to a full transfer of credits and graduation from St. Mary’s in 2000. Following this, Andrew completed his MPhil studies at the University of Cambridge and embarked on a career in higher education.
Andrew joined Arcadia University’s London Center in 2013, serving first as Regional Programmes Manager with oversight of Arcadia’s relationships with partner institutions in England and Wales as well as the student experience at those institutions. In August 2015, Andrew became the London Center’s Associate Director of Academic Affairs, managing the delivery of the London Center’s curricular and extracurricular programming, registrarial and academic support services. Prior to Arcadia, Andrew's career highlights include Educational Adviser and Events Coordinator at The US UK Fulbright Commission, Project Officer and Disability Adviser at University of Reading and Internship Placement Manager at EUSA Academic Internships.
Andrew remains passionate for the experience of living abroad and encourages our students to make the most of their experiences, both in and out of the classroom. While never bored of all that London has to offer, Andrew enjoys travelling throughout the UK and Europe. His favourite destinations include Greece, The Lofoten Islands of Norway, rural France and the Hebrides of Scotland.
