Hey y’all, my name is Jess! I’m currently a junior at the University of Alabama studying marine science and biology. In Spring 2018, I will be leaving my comfort zone and studying for a semester at James Cook University in Australia. Travel isn’t a foreign concept to me. In my 21 years in this world, I have lived in six different states and eleven different cities; ranging from a small beach town on the shores of Kauai, to the state capital of Tennessee, to a small farm town twenty minutes from any form of interstate. My newest adventure is one that excites me, as it will be my first time going off truly alone to explore the world. In my blog, I hope to be able to capture my adventure to its truest form of authenticity. The mistakes I am bound to make, the laughs I share with new friends, the wonder of exploring a new and exciting chapter of my life. Regardless of what happens, the next few months will be ones for the books.
