Hello! My name is Erin and I am a Junior at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where I am studying Elementary Education with a focus on pre-school to fourth grade. Previously, I studied at Northampton Community College, concluding in receiving an Associates Degree in Architectural Design. I hope to eventually become an Elementary school teacher and would love if I am able to keep Architecture in my life. I spend a lot of time at my local dance studio taking classes in tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and modern. I also assist with the younger dance classes at the studio. When I’m not at dance, I love to read, play video games, and go for walks with my dogs. For the next few months, I am going to be studying abroad at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. While here, I intend to do a lot of exploring, both of Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. Through my exploration, I am going to take note of architectural works of interest and post about my findings.

Within the small fishing village of Footdee is the Fittie Mission. All the pathways within the village seem to lead to this building. Just as the rest of the village, the Mission is not overwhelming in size. It does not dwarf the surrounding homes… More
A picturesque walk along the Stonehaven coastline leads you to a ruin of a castle. Dunnottar Castle is a stunning work of history set upon a cliffside just outside the town of Stonehaven. Nothing surrounds the castle, aside from fields, water, and sheep… More
