Tuition and Orientation $12,740 The tuition portion of all program fees includes tuition for most arts and social science academic courses, pre-program advisory services, on-site orientation, complete support services throughout the program, health and accident insurance, post-program follow-up and transcript.
Room $4,900 The housing portion of our program fee assumes self-catered, shared accommodations. Students in catered housing, single accommodations or enhanced accommodations could be subject to supplemental charges. Please refer to the program's Accommodation page for more details.
Total Program Fee $17,640 Enrollment selections incurring additional fees will be billed several weeks after programs begin.

Personal $1,205 Incidental or miscellaneous costs associated with daily living in the host city contributing to successful progress in the program.

Local Travel $285 Estimated travel costs from the student residence to the instruction site throughout the course of the program.
Program Travel $1,700 The program fee does not include the cost of traveling to and from the program location. A group flight may be arranged from Los Angeles. The estimated cost of airfare is based on leaving from and returning to Los Angeles. Students connecting from other locations will need to budget for additional travel costs.
Total Estimate of Additional Expenses $5,020 These estimates intend to assist students in planning their budget during their experience abroad. These amounts will vary depending on individual spending habits. Exchange rate of 0.766 to AUD 1.00 was used in determining the above estimates.



Potential Additional Fees

Fee Type Amount Notes
Supplemental Housing Fee $1,500 - $2,000 Students placed in single accommodations are subject to a per-semester supplemental fee.
Catered Housing Fee $2,000 - $4,500 Students assigned to a residential college will be billed a per-semester fee for the additional cost of the housing services and meals. These charges are generally posted the month after each semester begins.
Special Course Fee $500 - $1,000 A tuition surcharge will be imposed by the University of Technology Sydney for enrollment in certain studio and laboratory courses. All applicable special course fees will be added to your Arcadia University account after course registration overseas. Special course fees are estimated as $500-$1,000 per course.
